papaschtroumpf
One reason that I upgraded to firefox 1.5 was that sometimes firefox starts interpreting the "up" scrollwheel motion and the "go to previous page" key (like backspace), so as I try to scrollthrough a web page, it sendd me to the previous page. Unfortunately firefox 1.5 suffers from the same problem. Firefox is the only app I'm aware of where the behavior of the scroll key is incorrect. This only happens under linux, in fact I think only my Mansrake machine has the problem, not my Mepis-based laptop This is driving me nuts to the point that I'm ready to stop using Firefox if I can't find asolution here. ianw1974
I think I had this once, was something to do with the xorg mouse config. This is my mouse config section, in case it might be the same for you: Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Mouse1" Driver "mouse" Option "Protocol" "ExplorerPS/2" Option "Device" "/dev/mouse" Option "ZAxisMapping" "6 7" EndSection This was the default detected, regardless of what mouse was attached to my system. My external is usb, but my laptop has the touchpad as well.
daniewicz
I have not seen this scrolling problem when using Mandriva 10.2 with Firefox 1.0 or 1.
