I Recently installed Mandriva 2006 Free Edition, Wanted to try Linux, after almost 11 years of using Microsoft Windows. Everything worked fine during the installation, but when Mandriva is starting, I come to this "Terminal" and not the GUI mode (choosed KDE). Why is that so? My laptop is an Acer Aspire 1642: Intel Pentium M 740 1.7GHz 2MB Cache Internminne: 1024MB DDR2 (2X512) Hårddisk: 80GB ATA100 Brännare: DVD-brännare (+/-)Double Layer Grafik: 128MB PCI Express Skärm: 15,4" WXGA tft 56KB modem samt 10/100/1000 nätverk Integrerat trådlöst nätverk 802.11g (Sorry for the swedish info, but if there is anything you want to know, just ask =) ) Edited February 14, 2006 by IsKall
