Guest bluedevil Posted February 15, 2003 Report Share Posted February 15, 2003 I am a brand new to Linux (24 hours to be exact) btu I am a proficient Mindows user. I am unable to get sound from my Turtle Beach soundcard the driver I am using is: Cirrus Logic CS 4614/22/24 [CrystalClear SoundFusion Audio Accelerator] I can't seem to get any sound from it amd I am so new I haven't been able to figure out what config is needed if any and where exactly to do it. When I run the config tool it from Hardrake it tells me that the old driver CS 4614 has been blacklisted and the new driver snd-CS 4614 can only be run on the next bootstrap. I can see the file in the playlist but I hear no sound and see no track progress. Looks like I will have to post this in Software forum. Thx!
