Guest solus.ipse Posted February 1, 2006 Report Share Posted February 1, 2006 When attempting to install all I get to is the opening splash screen and when I press enter to beging the installation the screen goes black and restarts. After days of searching for info it seems to be an overall problem with the compaq presario line. Not all of them though. Here are my specs Also, this is most definetly not a problem with my ISO, the CD or the way I burned it. I've tired Mandriva, Ubuntu and and older official ubuntu cd that was given to me (install and live cd) all with the same problem. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
