User Posted January 29, 2006 Report Share Posted January 29, 2006 Anyone got a default or close to default copy of the etc/group file for Mandriva 2006 that they can post up in this thread? I edited some permissions and accidently edited/deleted one or 2. I just need to see th default to verify that I at least got spcific defaults correct. Thanks in advance. After you edit a file like group.txt, there appears a new file called group.txt~ which contains the data that was stored in group.txt before you edited it.
