joaonuno
Hi I use the Mandriva 2006 in an Acer Aspire 1414LMi, with the wlan winxp drives via ndiswrapper. Everything worked well until today. I don't know why, today, my wlan connection don't starts when the system boots, and I can't start it with the netapplet, even after drive reinstallation. How can I solve this problem? Thanks
ianw1974
Did you put "ndiswrapper" in the /etc/modprobe.preload file? If not, add it to here, and you should be perfectly fine. This is what i did with mine. As long as you followed the ndiswrapper install guide correctly, it should all work fine, once it's been added to /etc/modprobe.preload. You don't need to put modprobe before it, as the file is processed during bootup, so just the module name is enough. Mine is below: intel-agp ndiswrapper that's all my file contains. You might not have intel-agp, but something else instead depending on your graphics card.
