Hey all.

I am running Mandriva 10.1 and when I compile Exult 1.2 I get an error saying that

libstdc++.la cannot be found. I do have gcc-g++ installed along with all the libs... 3.4.1 is the version. I've done an 'updatedb' and 'locate libstdc++.la' and the file is nowhere to be found. I have no idea what else to do. For everyone else, the file seems to be in the gcc-g++-3.4.1 package. Any ideas?

I'm almost positive it's from past versions.

Has anyone gotten Exult to compile in Mandrake?

I might try erasing, redownloading and reinstalling the g++ packages though.

Other than that I have NO clue what to do.

I do not have this file on my Mandriva 2005 system. I did a search at http://rpm.pbone.net/ and located a libstdc++5.0-devel rpm for Conectiva:

libstdc++5.0-devel-3.3.3-62745cl.i386.rpm

This rpm contains the file you need, however, it is clearly not a Mandriva package.

I am hoping someone else can help :help:
