Bob The Nob Posted November 23, 2005 Report Share Posted November 23, 2005 Hey guys, Can you help me? I have downloaded OpenOffice.org2 and I would like to install shortcuts to the KDE menu. I have manually done this but I have not got any ICONS for it. I have Mandrake 10.0 and would like a proper OO.o2 Menu. Can you also tell me how to tell Linux to use OO.o1 extensions in OO.o2 when I click on them It opens up OO.o1 (or not not open at all now I uninstalled OO.o1) I use OO.o2 in windows and like the pretty icons. Funny thing about the menu - the item for the database was not put under the Office menu tree as were all the other openoffice apps. Instead it was buried someplace like Other Applications (sorry, I'm not in 2006 at the moment and I don't recall the exact menu path).
