Hi all,

I just got 2006.0 x86 DVD powerpack. I tried to install it onto a usb drive with an AMD 3700+ system. However, 2006 cannot get pass detecting an NVidia NForce 4 SATA controller. I hit alt f4 I think and see it says disabling IRQ 10. The installation just stalled. The box has 1 GB RAM, 250 GB SATA, and NVidia 6800 PCIE video. After I went in the BIOS to disable the SATA controller, the installation is fine. I have no problem with Ubuntu 5.04 and 5.10. I tried noauto and nodmraid option with no avail. I want to test X86 version first before trying the x86-64 later. I wonder if the x86-64 version will solve the problem.

any suggestion?
