jboy
Here's a link to Mandriva's hardware compatibility database, which you can query: http://www.mandriva.com/en/hardware/ I don't use wifi myself so I can't give you any recommendations based on my experience. Bdickson2000
Ask the salesman for a card using an Atheros chip. The drivers are very easy to set up. An 'older' model would be a D-Link DWL-G650, for example. Britt Dickson
Guest jglen490
There are many cards that can be used, almost all of which do not run natively under Linux. However, it's not all bad news. Check out this site at sourceforge for very good info on how to use ndiswrapper (which is included in Mandriva's CDs) and a card-specific WinXP driver for a very long list of proven cards. The list of cards is included at the site along with tips and experiences of many who have gone over this ground before.
