jaraeez
Hi, I have succesfully installed & burnt using k3b. My problem is that when I put it in a Windoze PC the files show up but instead of there names it shows a little icon..?! Im not sure of the correct settings for burning data cd's which can be read by both Linux & Windoze. Anyone... TIA
AussieJohn
I think it has more to do with your settings in Windows. I think you have selected icons in your settings....show as text, icons, thumbnails...etc. Note that these settings can be made independantly for each Directory or Folder or set to be universal for all Directorys and Folders. I do not think it has anything to do where it was burnt, especially if it was just data files. Cheers. John.

Guest cebo
I had a problem once like this and found that by selecting joliet extensions, somewhere in the settings, it fixed the problem.

This is also what I have done.. strange. I will double-check to see if the files are executable in Windoze...
