ianw1974 Posted November 1, 2005 Author Report Share Posted November 1, 2005 Right update, finally got on my machine to do this. What I've done is this. I deleted all the . directories in my home area, eg: .kde, .gnome and so on, except .mozilla and .thunderbird. Rebooted, and all seems to be OK. The panels load perfectly. The only problem I experience now is, that randomly, apps either open or they don't. For instance, I open Terminal (konsole) and it sits waiting for 30 seconds and doesn't open.
