twn_onizuka
How in the world do you change the time on the desktop clock? Thanks [moved from Installing Mandriva by spinynorman]
ianw1974
I think just by right clicking and choosing settings. Or if not there, go into MCC, and System, there is the date/time options there.
daniewicz
If you are using KDE Right click on the date/time in the lower right corner and select "adjust date and time" I am not as fast as ianw1974 Edited October 1, 2005 by daniewicz

ianw1974
I think it should be in System/Configuration/Configure Your Computer/System/Date or Time. I thought it could be the properties of the clock itself.
coverup
open terminal, then type man date to see the manual for the command date. to use this command you have to be root.
AussieJohn
Daniel and ianw are correct. It is a standard part of the applet that is the clock. I have NEVER seen the clock without that right click menu item. The other suggestions also can be used. I am not sure that you were trying the clock settings correctly. Cheers. John.
