Guest mpr67 Posted September 29, 2005 Report Share Posted September 29, 2005 I cannot get my Netgear wireless wg111 working. I have used ndiswrapper to install the latest xp driver. When I do a ndiswrapper -l the driver is listed as installed. I have also done a modprobe ndsiwrapper and an ndiswrapper -m, as well as rebooted. The problem appears to be the way Mandrake 10.1 perceives the adapter. It is listed at the bottom of the device tree as other/unknown device, even though it is a usb device. I am afraid the system has no clue that it is a network device because it is not recognized anywhere else. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
