spnoe
I am not sure what I have done but every time I try to update my software using Madrakelinux update, a message appears saying that their are errors and it was unable to load the hdlist. I have removed and reloaded the souce's, but still no go. I am using Mandriva Limited Edition 2005. What have I done and how can I reset this programme. Please make it simple as I am new to Mandriva. Thank you. Steve
daniewicz
When you reload the sources, try a different mirror. The mirror you are currently selecting must be temporarily down.
spinynorman
spnoe - I've removed your other thread on this topic - please don't double-post. :)
spnoe
Sorry about the double posting. I originally posted in what I thought was the wrong forum. I see your from Southend. My old stamping ground, although I lived in Rayleigh. Now live in Spain. Not a patch on Southend. Best wishes, Steve
spnoe
Thanks daniewicz. Yes you were correct. I have now changed sites. Thanks for your time and advice. Much appreciated. Steve
spinynorman
I see your from Southend. Leigh on Sea to be precise. :) Now live in Spain. Not a patch on Southend.
daniewicz
I am glad you got things working. American needs a translation  Not a patch on Southend
ianw1974
It's a comparison between the two, putting Southend in a better light than Spain. Similar to saying: I used to live in Southend, but now live in Spain. It doesn't beat Southend though. One of my ol work colleagues lives in Leigh-on-Sea. Blenheim Chase I think! :P
