Guest Seedy
Dear Experts, I've recently encountered a problem that whenever I enable postfix, the system keeps sending mail constantly. I don't know how to find out what might be causing this. Any ideas? Thanks CD
coverup
What kind of mail? The best solution would be to find out which service sends email notifications and rectify the problem causing it to report errors. As a temporary solution, uou can start and stop postfix as cron jobs. E.g., start it hourly at xx:00, and stop it at xx:05, thus leaving postfix a 5 minutes slot to deliver/send mail.
