Easy URPMI site have these selections: AMD64 and X86_64 Which one is for me??? And one more question??? Is SMP-kernel for me? Thanks for reply! Guest Adriano Posted September 21, 2005 Report Share Posted September 21, 2005 I'd try with x86_64 first, but you won't be able to use those packages from easyurpmi if you haven't installed from the correct discs. JonEberger Posted September 21, 2005 Report Share Posted September 21, 2005 i think if you use the smp kernel and your machine can't use it, it still works fine. that's my understanding from stuff i've read. but i've ran an smp kernel for a long time on a non-ht p4. i think with ht is when the p4 could actually take advantage of the smp kernel.
