mutazoid
when installing Java or any software must I leave the ____________.rpm.bin or the ______________.rpm files in the directory or can they be removed? I just installed Java and I think I have jre-1_5_0_04-linux-i586.rpm and jre-1_5_0_04-linux-i586.rpm.bin left in the /usr/bin directory. Can I remove them without affecting the function of Java? Thanks, Keith (I would assume I can delete them but Im a nooob :P )
ianw1974
Yup, these can be deleted, as java would have been installed to /usr/java (I think). :P
