I tried to locate them, was unable to find them. If you can tell how do I know what programs are installed so that I may be able to use them. tyme Posted September 2, 2005 Report Share Posted September 2, 2005 You can see what programs you installed via the mandrake control center, if you go to remove programs - don't remove anything, but it will list everything you have installed. program executables usually end up in /usr/bin Most programs you install should appear in your menu on your desktop. otherwise you can normally run a program from the command line by using it's program name, i.e. if i want to run kmail i open a command line and type in: kmail and press enter.
