Can anyone help me with the problem below: [root@localhost /]# xawtv This is xawtv-3.94, running on Linux/i686 (2.6.11-6mdksmp) can't open /dev/video0: Device or resource busy v4l-conf had some trouble, trying to continue anyway v4l2: open /dev/video0: Device or resource busy v4l2: open /dev/video0: Device or resource busy v4l: open /dev/video0: Device or resource busy no video grabber device available [root@localhost /]# It seems like SPCA5xx program is using /dev/video0, which is currently being use by my webcam. tried creating /dev/video1 and have xawtv use it, but it says it can not be found. and it seems it still want /dev/video0. When I un-install spca5xx program and tried to run xawtv, then it would say that it cannot find /dev/video0, but I know it is created just like /dev/video1.

How do you un-install program that not part of the urpmi or does not have any icon displayed.

I wanted the TV stations. All I get is a video display of myself from my web cam.

It works great in WINDOWS. I do know that it is a re-brand of Lexmark 1150. I also read that it should be able to use the driver of Z600, which I did download, compiled and installed. In Harddrake / Printer Setup; it does display Z600 for lexmark and I did select it, but it did not work me.

I was able to see the printer under MCC. everything seems to be okay except under the Module section, which is Blank. Tried to send a test print. It indicated that it was sent okay, but nothing was printed.
-
Printer does not respond to any print or test print. It says it is sending to the printer, but no printouts. What is printer facility in the control center[sic]?

USBVision Software / Drivers [Solved]

Still need to find a solution for this, Anyone? -
When I check in the MCC Hardware Configuration - there is an area call UNKNOWN. In that area displays all of my USB devices. When I display each of them, under the subject called MODULE , it has nothing. Doe this mean that these USB devices are not configured properly? [moved from Software by spinynorman]

I am getting there, New error: [root@localhost /]# xawtv This is xawtv-3.94, running on Linux/i686 (2.6.11-6mdksmp) can't open /dev/video0: Device or resource busy v4l-conf had some trouble, trying to continue anyway v4l2: open /dev/video0: Device or resource busy v4l2: open /dev/video0: Device or resource busy v4l: open /dev/video0: Device or resource busy no video grabber device available [root@localhost /]# Any Help? -
Just where can I get this module. I think I need this for my WINTV USB to work
-
Well chalk one up for me. I finally did something properly.
-
I am having a difficult time executing this. I am using Hauppauge WINTV USB device. Install the drivers from USBVISION and SPCA5XX. Compiled and created modules for each. When I execute XAWTV I now get the following error: v4l2: open /dev/video0: No such device vid-open: failed: v4l2 vid-open: trying: v4l... v4l: open /dev/video0: No such device vid-open: failed: v4l no video grabber device available but, yet when ls /dev I do see video0.
-
Is this something that I should be concern about? Am I doing the proper in activating this?
