kalliste
Hi all, I've searched high and low for a tutorial on this but really can't find one. On booting mandriva I go to a command line login first. At this login point I would like to see a quote from a .txt file I have. Fortune is up and running at /usr/games/fortune - I've tried adding /usr/games/fortune to /etc/rc.local but nothing... not sure what else to try to even get fortune working, let alone getting fortune to use one particular quote file. thanks in advance - any help welcome... ramfree17
i added it at the end of my ~/.bash:profile since i am the only one using the machine. :D putting it at the end of rc.local is moot since the screen is going to be repainted by the tty login console. ciao!
