homerjj Posted August 22, 2005 Report Share Posted August 22, 2005 After installing madrake 10.1, i restart my computer and try to boot into madrake bt get the following message Checking root filesystemfsck.ext3 unable to resolve ' label=/ ' failed to check file system. do you want to repair? i then answer yes and get the message An error occured during file system check The computer then reboots. Ixthusdan Posted August 22, 2005 Report Share Posted August 22, 2005 I got that message with a bad burn or a bad download. If root, /, is corrupt after a first boot, you have serious problems.
