Partition Table Entries Not In Disk Order [Solved]

To make room for a 2006 Beta install, I resized an existing partition and deleted a swap partition, which had been /dev/hdb6 (I have a swap on the first drive, so didn't need it).

original hdb7 --> now hdb6

original hdb8 --> now hdb7

The new partition I created became hdb8. There are no current problems, I've adjusted fstab entries.

But now the partition table entries are out of order as can be seen by the 'fdisk -l' out below.

  Device Boot      Start         End      Blocks   Id  System
/dev/hdb1   *           1       10199    81923436    7  HPFS/NTFS
/dev/hdb2           10200       19929    78156225    5  Extended
/dev/hdb5           10200       11767    12588219+  83  Linux
/dev/hdb6           13602       16801    25703968+  83  Linux
/dev/hdb7           16802       19929    25125628+  83  Linux
/dev/hdb8           11768       13600    14723541   83  Linux
Partition table entries are not in disk order

My question is: Would this cause me any future problems with having the partition table entries out of order?

For instance, for the new 2006 install which I want to put on /dev/hdb8, the one that is out of order, will the 2006 install correctly work with hdb8 being out of order?
