Lowe
What do you think is the best way to share files? I've been using ftp for sharing files beetween me and my friends but it's becoming a hassle, since i always need to copy my files to /home/ftp/** is there a better way to do this? I Have all my files stored in /home/****/Share is there anyway i can share that folder without having to move it.
aioshin
If am not wrong, you can change the ftp server default shared directory to any directory you want to be shared... just look for its config file... what is your ftp server anyway? Lowe
I'm using proftpd. I'll have a look at the config and see what's what then.
scarecrow
Proftpd allows virtual directories. Try configuring the server with webmin or gproftpd, it's quite easy.
