Guest vulcan bomber
Thanks for info, I also saw amarok-1.3-mysql.0.b..> 27-Jun-2005 15:51 5.9M on the amarok kde site. When I tried to install this it asked for libmysqlclinet.so.12, which I haven't been able to locate a copy of. I notice on the wikepedia setup it is also asking for these libraries to be installed. Thanks for help
Guest vulcan bomber
I am maing progress I have got the SQL database installed however there is an error in Wiki The GRANT select line should have ' around the user name eg TO 'amarok@localhost' I haven't a clue how to do the configure and make install first part however. I come from a windows background and use the KDE pacakge to install software. Should I be able to use the 1.3 install package for my sql on the Amarok site under Mandrive 2005LE? I didn't have any success with this.
