Guest mrgenius Posted June 11, 2005 Report Share Posted June 11, 2005 Hi All! I was trying to install Syslog-ng on my mandrake 10.1 official system. I have compiled and installed it. However i am facing difficultly in making its startip script for init.d Author of syslog-ng has provided startup scripts for redhat,fedora,solaris etc. i have tried all of them.. but they are not working on my mandrake system and gives error. Can any one tell how to write startup script for syslog-ng??
