i just got a call from a co-worker who is a Mac Nut . he started off by saying Mactel is going to kill Linux

hmmm...I doubt so. Probably that Apple will not allow Mac OS X to run on any PCs so....it's gonna be about the same, except Apple will have more horsepower and more apps ported. wow, talk about a linux killer o_0

 

If they open it up to every x86 PCs, maybe there's a threat, but even so, I don't think everyone using Linux will switch to Mac (I'm not going to, at least...)

 

So it's not that bad o_0

your friend sounds like John Dvorak's parrot. I plan to make a post on my blog later this evening giving my opinions on the various theories that have come out of this.
