Guest DummyUser
Hi there, I tried to install Mandrake 10.1 official onto my PC. I selected <enter> to install or upgrade from the installation. Then I get the following message and the whole process freezed. kernel panic fatal exception in interrupt Interrupt handler - not syncing my PC : CPU 333 M Hz 65MB RAM I don't know what processor is in my PC (obviously, I'm not a hardware person), please let me know how to find this info. Well, I digged out my extremely old version (v6.0) and installed. It couldn't locate my video card nor my network card. I guess I'm dooomed. I haven't give up yet.... Please help. Steve Scrimpshire
Try hitting F1 at the prompt and typing linux noapic and see if that solves the issue.
scarecrow
It will crawl anyway with just 64M of RAM. Consider using a light desktop, KDE will be a pain.
