Some questions about proftpd

Hi :

 

I am install a proftpd (1.2.10) with mysql support (4.1.11).

 

First :

 

But i try SQLAuthTypes Backend but dont work (i use mysql password for update usertable), if i use Plainttext work perfectly (store password in plain text) .

¿some suggestion?

 

And a second question....

when I connect like user1.... and upload a files.... this are the permissions

 

-rw-r--r-- 1 10001 10001 694750 may 28 10:48

 

its possible change this? for example :

 

if connect user1 -> -rw-rwxr-- 1 user1 root

if connect user2 -> -r--r--r-- 1 user2 user2
