daniewicz
Has anyone had any success increasing the icon spacing in the 10.2 konqueror file manager? My file names are being truncated and I cant make it stop. There was no problem like this in 10.1. :o Ironically, the 10.1 KDE desktop icon spacing was terrible but was fixed in 10.2
devries
kde control center, kde components, filemanager, tab look and change the size. (translated from dutch so actual wording can be different)
Guest anon
KDE control centre>>>>>>>>file manager>>>>>Appearance. Set the height for icon text to three lines, that should fix it for you.
daniewicz
anon: That partially worked. There are still several folders with longer names that insist on truncation. devries: Are you talking about changing the font size? I changed from a 10 pt to 9. That also helps, and in conjunction with anon's suggestion gives me a reasonable solution. I would prefer 10 pt but........

daniewicz
devries: The menu option you have shown does not exist in my 10.2 installation.
devries
It's kde control center in Dutch. I've noticed that some options are placed differently in the english kde control center. Have a look through all the filemanager options. (I'm using KDE 3.4, latest from thac)
daniewicz
I have looked through all of the filemanager options, and I do not see anything of use in my KDE 3.3. Perhaps your menu is different because you have 3.4?
daniewicz
Are there any KDE 3.4 users out there who see the same menu posted by devries?
