piure Posted May 10, 2005 Report Share Posted May 10, 2005 (edited) Hi everyone, I am trying to use my genius webcam (Genius Videocam NB 100K) under Mandriva 2005 LE. I allready loaded the module which is sn9c102. The device and vendor are correctly recognized when I list the usb devices: [root@localhost root]# lsusb Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0c45:6001 Microdia Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 In hardrake the webcam and module are correctly recognized. Still the camera does not work with gnomeeting or xawtv. With Mandrake 10.1 it did not work either but I thought it was because of the kernel which has to be 2.6.10 or greater. Now with the new kernel it still does not work. anyone has ever used this camera?? or can help me please??
