kompact
I want to try out KDE 3.4 I found this page and am wondering: 1. Am I supposed to grab all of the .rpms and install then one at a time? 2. If the above is the correct answer is there a way to install them all at once? 3. Is there a .rpm package that has all of this included? i.e. a 200mb+ rpm 4. I am using LE2k5, are these the correct .rpms to install? If not, can I have a link to the correct ones? I did do a forum search on this topic but didn't see anything that answered my questions. As an fyi, don't ask why I want to install 3.4, yes 3.3 is running fine for me - I am just wanting to do and learn to do as much as I can with Linux. Thx! Ixthusdan
1. No, not all are necessary to install. Some are for language and others are dependent upon what you already have in your system. 2. Use urpmi on the command line, or use MCC. It will figure out the correct rpm's to install. 3.Not unless you make one yourself! 4.I would useTHIS LINK
