niti
1. When I want to halt the computer, it is shutting down but not electrically. I have to push on the close button. It is not closing electrically itself. 2. I installed KDE 3.4 from cooker repositıry. Everything is OK for now. I click the system---->setting button. The error pop-up is appearing and says that unknown settings folder. The home, storage media, remote places and trash icons is running without problems. adamw
The first problem is quite common, you may be able to solve it by changing the ACPI and APIC options in the boot configuration part of the Control Center. It's not actually a huge problem, though, as everything _has_ shut down properly, your system just doesn't pass the physical power-off command correctly.
