MrWhisp
Hi, I have some problems with my monitor settings. I have a Fujitsu-Siemens laptop with an external LCD monitor and an ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 graphics card. The problem is that when i start xorg (version 6.8.2) my external monitor gets no input signal. It gets signal before x starts. This problem occured after I installed the ATI drivers... I have two questions: 1. How can I get my external monitor to work with xorg? 2. Is it possible to stretch the desktop to both monitors? Regards, Mr Whisp
devries
Before you start X another module (driver) is being used to place output on the screen. After you start X the ati driver is used. You need to configure the /etc/xorg/xorg.conf file to get 2 monitors working (or run fglrxconfig and choose for big desktop)
