Jza Posted March 16, 2005 Report Share Posted March 16, 2005 Hi, I got some networking questions regarding my Linux laptop. I just succesfully run my Lucent WinModem on my laptop. Now I wanted to get on line, great, no problem. However until yesterday I tried to connect and the modem was nowhere to be found, I did a depmod -a modprobe ltserial Then it seems that the modem was just nowhere to be found so I did the following ln -s /dev/ttyTLS0 /dev/modem Cool, the modem was found again, so I dial now and sign in but after getting in the connection breaks.
