MaxiMRealitY Posted March 14, 2005 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 hi i found out how to mount samba shares with this command smbmount //"sharepath"/ /"mountpath" -o username="windowsusername", password="windowspassword" and it works. however on my widows machine i share the root of a drive. so it comes up as "harddrive (E)" when i try and mount it i get this error.. bash: syntax error near unexpected token `(' any ideas on how to mount this share ?
