coverup Posted March 7, 2005 Report Share Posted March 7, 2005 Are you sure, the booting process stops, i.e., hangs? When the box tries to get an IP address from a nonexisting DHCP server, it may take ages until the script times out. For instance, you may be trying to start eth0 which normally gets its IP address from a server, but eth0 is not connected (just guessing). Try this... Open MCC and disable all network interfaces which you don't want to use in this particular profile, i.e., configure them not to sart on boot. Make sure that those which you want to start, are connected to the network and properly configured. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
