bamboo_spider Posted March 2, 2005 Report Share Posted March 2, 2005 (edited) Hi I am trying to instal 10.1 CE from a DVD onto a Armada E 500 Compaq Laptop , 128 mb RAM, 11 GB HDD and previously installed with win 98, win Xp Pro- SP2, fc3 . Everytime I boot through the bootable DVD the install passess the Instal Language sequence and then gets stuck at Synaptics Reset Failed Synaptics Reset Failed after this there is no more activity. Whats the problem - also I am not a experienced Linux User will need simple help.
