Guest nommiiss
Hello I am not 100% sure why this happens. But I can only make connection to my ADSL or to my LAN. It seems to disables the one when the other is working. Has anyone come across this? I am going to be using my Mandrake box as my internet server so it needs to be connected to the LAN and ADSL. coverup
did you check default gateway and IP addresses for your LAN and ADSL connections? The interfaces must be connected to different networks. That is, the ADSL interface must have an IP address 192.168.2.2, and must forward outgoing packets to the default gateway 192.168.2.1. LAN must have IP address on a different subnet, say 192.168.3.1.
