Should i update it with mandrakeupdate? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Some kernels are marked as smp, enterprise, etc. Try shutdown while not using one of those. Also, try to fiddle with BIOS settings. In my imprssion, it's a common problem with Mandrake+ThinkPad (desktop likewise).
