Guest jesus_rp Posted February 11, 2005 Report Share Posted February 11, 2005 Just after installing a fresh copy of Mandrake 10.1 + kernel sources + wireless tools 27 + ndiswrapper 0.9 (mdk rpm) (with version 0.8 was impossible to install the driver with ndiswrapper -i NET8180.INF): Fisrt step done: ndiswrapper -i NET8180.INF and the driver is installed OK, ndiswrapper -l returns hardware present. modprobe ndiswrapper works OK (dmesg | grep ndis returns that installation was OK) After all this i run iwconfig and the shell returns an error: iwconfig: symbol lookup error: iw_print_txpower Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have a Dlink DWL-650 (802.11b)which uses the Rtl8180 chips and I got ndis working before with no problem (use Driverloader now, though). Is the card supported by ndiswrapper?
