bvc
It's everywhere!..and no one seems to address it....is this a normal kmail behavior? =20's all through an email. Mutt doesn't do it, and because of it I reinstalled Evolution for my wife and it doesn't do it either. I sent an email from kmail to my main pop account, my imap account, and both my wifes, and the result is the same. The pops display the email fine.. kmail, and Evolution, but not Mutt, and the imap accounts show the =20's. There's post everywhere from a google search with the =20's but they're discussing other topics. Have people gone mad? http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=...ithin%A0results http://mailman.lug.org.uk/pipermail/nelug/...ber/000053.html http://llistes.bulma.net/pipermail/bulmail...014/004936.html http://mail.kde.org/pipermail/kde/2002-Sep...ber/001396.html Thanks! pmpatrick
Check the following link. It's not an answer, but it is an explanation: http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&....com%26rnum%3D2

bvc
Thank you! Though it really doesn't make sense. Kmail can read them just fine. If an email is sent from kmail, Outlook pop/imap can't decode, Mutt pop can't/I don't know about imap, Evolution pop's ok, imap can't. The evolution is the one I find really strange. If a 20 is for a space, then the space is coming from the word wrap, because it's almost always at the end of a line for my wife. It's something kmail is doing to the messages. I can see it now...." hey so_and_so, I just started using linux and it's great! You should give it a try". Re: "Did you send me that email from linux? It had a bunch of =20's in it and it was hard to tell sometimes what you were trying to say".  :P  Thanks for the link :!:
