Bellies
I would like to be able to choose root at the login prompt in Mandrake 10.0 I know that it is somewhat unsafe to login as root and that I can achieve the same effect by typing su into a console but please humor me :P Anyway to do it? Thanks moved from tips & tricks (anon)
Guest anon
System>>>>Configuration>>>>>>>>Configure your desktop>>>>>>>System>>>>>>Login manager. Tick the "show users" box and put a cross in the root box. TIP If this because you have problems configuring stuff in a consol, then try using KDESU to view and modify files. Right click on desktop>>>>>Run command>>>>and type: kdesu
