Guest magus0216
I installed mandrake 10.0 today and during the installation I got a message of "disabling irq #18" but it just stopped there for a while and kept installing anyways. When the boot menu comes up and I select linux the next loading screen comes up and goes into verbose mode, and it keeps saying "Disable IRQ #18". Linux is running fine its just really slow and keeeps reporting an error in KWrited. I looked in winndows and IRQ #18 is taken by a usb hub. Im running an intel 2.4C on an Asus p4p800-e deluxe if that helps. I tried disabling through the bios but I only had options for 1-
Cannonfodder
Try unplugging USB stuff and switching them around to different ports..
