Guest sergio-2005
I have a Toshiba Satellite A50-110 and Mandrake 10.1. My touchpad does not work when X-Windows starts (it works while installing!). Also, if I run mousedrake I can select the default mouse type and the mouse starts to work. However, I have to do this every time I boot Linux. It's like the system forgets the type of mouse I have? Please, if you have any idea about how can I solve this problem let me know. Thanks in advance, Sergio [moved from Hardware by spinynorman - welcome aboard :)]
DragonMage
You are probably running harddrake while booting up, so that it overwrites your nice configuration. Try disabling harddrake service using the Mandrake Control Center -> System -> Services. Then check whether that problem starts again.
