Guest waisman Posted February 1, 2005 Report Share Posted February 1, 2005 Hi All, I am having a problem with my LM 10.1 instillation. When the computer is booted the card comes up as 100 baseT full autoneg on. With this setting networking does not work. When I use ethtools I can reset the card to speed 10 duplex half and autoneg off. Everything works great. I have added to /etc/modules.conf the appropriate settings (obtained from this board) but upon reboot the card is still at 100 baset full etc. It seems to me (a novice) that modules.conf is not loaded at startup--Is that possible?
