fangbite
I hope I put this in the right forum... Anyways, I'm trying to build a Linux distrubution to impress my boss to make he decide to do at least a partial switch (if nothing else) to linux. I work at an elementary school and while I have found a multitude of applications for education, I have found nothing which is a filter for the internet. I'm looking for a filter which could reduce (hopefully eliminate) the chance of the kids going to internet sites which are innappropriate (porn sites, anarchists sites etc). Even though the kids are always supervised, we're hoping to prevent accidental exposure as well as head off the really dedicated morons (why does every class have one?) Can anyone suggest something which might work for this?
