Urza9814 Posted January 22, 2005 Report Share Posted January 22, 2005 Ok, this comp has two mice...only one at a time though, as both are PS/2...but it has a basic 5 year old wheel mouse (wired) and an optical 5 button (wireless) mouse. When I first got the big wireless one (came with a keyboard) it didn't work in Linux...only windoze...so I used the wired one my comp had. Well, I got my new comp and decided to try that mouse again...didn't even work in windoze this time...then about a week ago my old one just died...I tried everything I could think of...woudln't work in windoze or Linux...so I plugged in the wireless one...and it worked fine in both...and it was pretty good for about a week...then it just died...tried chaning the batteries...twice...tried hitting the connect button a buncha times in a buncha combinations...checked the cords...rebooted many times...nothing worked...so then I plugged the old one back in...and guess what? it works now...WTF!
