I am running 10.1 and everytime I try to install a program in the terminal with the configure, make and makeinstall I get an error during configure:

checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!

I have the following Xorg stuff when I querry with urpmi:

The following packages contain xorg:

libxorg-x11

xorg-x11

xorg-x11-100dpi-fonts

xorg-x11-75dpi-fonts

xorg-x11-Xnest

xorg-x11-Xvfb

xorg-x11-cyrillic-fonts

xorg-x11-glide-module

xorg-x11-server

xorg-x11-xfs

I am new to linux and am not really sure of what I am doing

Thanks

I tried installing a rpm for it but I get this error from rpmdrake:

libxorg-x11-devel-6.7.0-3mdk.i586 (due to unsatisfied devel(libfreetype))

I get the same thing no matter what version I run. Am I trying to install the wrong version?

I can't even find it in the rpm packages on the disk
