linux_learner Posted January 17, 2005 Report Share Posted January 17, 2005 1. you have a winmodem, which means you need the driver. this is true even in windows (just the driver comes with windows) 2. you need to know your chipset, as drivers are or arent provided according to chipset. 3. go to http://linmodems.org/ and follow all the instructions.
